Aloha All

We are currently working on putting together drag racing for 2006. I had a good trip to the mainland and have solid leads for a national drag racing sanctioning body as required by the County of Hawaii for use of the drag strip.

One of the first things that we feel must be done is to get our own timing system, Christmas Tree and wiring harness. We have decided that to use our own for several reasons, among them we feel that we use our own equipment there will be no disagreements with anyone or any organization, we put it in when we race, take it out when we leave.

Secondly we want to get our own track prep equipment, this makes it a lot easier when we have to get the track ready prior to a race, during a race and after the race is over.

As for the drag racing programs, it has not been decided on what kind of program, we are looking at a lot more towards a modified Sportsman or Pro Gas racing program, more Showdown formats, we would especially like to run a year round High School Drags. As I mentioned this will be a work in progress.

We can't give anyone or even myself when we will start the racing in 2006, we feel that it is real important to have everything in place before we start, we want to start off right, run a good and safe racing program, that is enjoyable to everyone, racers and fans. The first step now is the obtaining of the equipment to hold drag races, then move forward from there.

For those of you off road fans, we have not forgotten you, the Ke Koa Hao - Iron Warrior will become a series in 2006. More on this shortly....

Thank you everyone for your support and encouraging phone calls, you have given us a lot of feedback and information, please keep up the calls to us at 895-1676

Happy Thanksgiving!

Ed, You seem to be a very dedicated, hard worker (working to have a very successful racing assn.). We could use some help on Kauai!! Things seem to be going down hill here, while every other track seems to be doing great.

Ed, good luck to you. Let us know when you're up and running. We've got a new car this year and would be glad to come play on your track. If there's anything we can do to help you just let us know. Char
