German Ferris

Was there a Top Fuel racer in the 70's thru 80's named Germann Ferris or German Ferris?
If so, I have found his rear engine Don Long car that was built in, I think, 1978. I believe it replaced one that burned.
It also has the name "Fatso" or "Fat Boy" on it.
Any info will be appreciated. I will try to get some photo's in a few weeks. It looks ready to race.

Yes there was a gentleman named German Farias and his son Larry "Fatso" Farias was the driver. Where have you located this car? Fatso Passed away several years ago. From, James Generalao

Hey James,
I was looking to find some pictures of the car. I have only seen it in a trailer near Vegas. It has been sitting for some time. He plans on bringing it to the reunion at Bakersfield this summer. He needs to tear it apart and go thru it, he then said that he'll be starting it there on 35%. I am offering my time & labor if he needs it. He is talking about bringing it out to a show hosted by the Boulder City pan draggers on the weekend of May 7th. I will get some pictures of it there, but if you are not too far away, come see it. I will be bringing my 1941 Olds out from hibernation for the show.
