Sharon,
If a racer fails to make the 16 car field in the Top Sportsman, does he/she get a free entry into the Pro ET? In my opinion, one who doesn't qualify should get the entry into Pro ET. Same goes for all classes with a 16 or 32 car cutoff. I can see a racer who qualifies for the quick class having to pay the $45 PRO ET entry to race both classes. That would be fine.

Aloha Jay,

Mahalo for your feedback. This enables me to further clarify the PRO ET class.

If racers want to enter two classes, they must pay the racer fee for each class and they must also make Qualifying runs in each class.

Our computer timing system will not allow us to transfer Qualifying runs from one class to another.

The PRO ET class is intended for those racers who will not have a chance to make the Top 16 or Top 32 fields - to enable them to also compete for a Wally trophy. And also for racers who would like to compete in more than one class.

I will share your suggestion with my fellow board members. See you this weekend!

I am looking forward to the Saturday night Pro ET race with my yellow car and if I am luck, I will be in the 32 car street bracket with my blue car.
cu at the races. John H
